Vision 2010
For several years, the John Molson School of Business has been hoping to host the Jeux Du Commerce. We believe that this prestigious competition will enable us to enhance the reputation of both our school as well as our academic standards. Unfortunately, this dream had been postponed countless times because our school did not possess the appropriate infrastructure for the event. For the 2010 year, we are committed to accommodating the Jeux Du Commerce as it should. In fact, we have the ability to attach great importance to an event of such magnitude.
In order to enhance the academic achievements of its students, Concordia University invested in its infrastructure on several levels, including the integrated Engineering, Computer Science, and Visual Arts building; the expansion of the Loyola campus; and of course the new JMSB building. This has allowed students to face the recent challenges of the new millennium as well as adapt.
2010 is a major year for Concordia University since we are celebrating two important dates: the 35th anniversary of the merger of the Sir George Williams University with the Loyola College, as well as the 75th anniversary of the introduction of the first Bachelor of Business Administration. In addition, we will be fully installed in our new building and we believe it to be the ideal time for the John Molson School of Business to host the 22nd edition of the Jeux Du Commerce.
For the past 20 years, each edition of the Jeux Du Commerce has brought a new aspect and has elevated the level of the competition in regards to the previous year. It is in this spirit that our Organizing Committee wishes to bring innovative ideas to the Jeux Du Commerce. In fact, our goal is to introduce new technologies to be used in the long term and which will provide a modern atmosphere to the competition. We will invest all of our energy and efforts to ensure that this 22nd edition is the best to date and that it is unforgettable in the eyes of the participants. We want to convey the state of mind of the John Molson School of Business.
In 2010, the Jeux Du Commerce will experience a success never seen before!
