In following through with the mandate they set for all participating delegations, the organizing committee of the 2010 Commerce Games will be contributing to Centraide/United Way this holiday season.

Centraide/United Way, with its 117 locations, works “locally to change living conditions for the better. Issues they face may vary, but the values and purpose that drive them are the same: to strengthen their communities and improve quality of life for Canadians”.

While delegations were given the freedom to continue working with their respective charities, all were asked to find a creative and meaningful way to give back to their local Centraide/United Way.

By working together, the Organizing Committee and delegations were able to maximize both donations as well as community awareness of Centraide/United Way and its worthy causes.
